Georgia composed her first film score in 2015, for feature-length documentary Winter at Westbeth.

Following a rapturous response at last month’s Sydney Film Festival, the film has been added to the program at the Melbourne International Film Festival, screening in August.

Saturday 6th August – 1:30pm at Hoyts Melbourne Central

Monday 8th August – 4pm at The Forum Theatre

Tickets and full program details here.

Directed by award-winning cinematic storyteller Rohan Spong, Winter at Westbeth (Unicorn Films) chronicles a year in the lives of three elderly artists co-residing at Westbeth Artist Housing in NYC.

Screen Daily UK are calling Winter at Westbeth “celebratory” and “life-affirming”, declaring that “first-time film composer Georgia Fields’ score is similarly sweeping yet delicate”.
