To celebrate the release of her new retrospective mini-album, Fields is taking her evocative and ethereal string quartet show on the road.
Kicking off the tour with a special hometown show on Saturday 11 November at Kew Court House in Melbourne, Fields will be joined by longtime collaborators The Andromeda String Quartet, who recorded on ‘Afloat, Adrift’. Book your tickets here.
She then heads interstate to perform with a Sydney-based string quartet headed by acclaimed violinist Veronique Serret, at Sydney’s best kept secret: High Tea, a carefully-curated fortnightly live music series, held in a secret Art Deco warehouse location. It’s all going down on Thursday 16 November. (Psst: you can reserve your seat here.)
The tour continues north, where Fields performs with a Brisbane-based string quartet in a free, open air concert in Queen St Mall on Friday 17 November, presented by City Sounds. More info here.
Finally, Fields wraps the tour on Sunday 26 November with a free, all-ages matinee in the picturesque courtyard of the Theatre Royal in Castlemaine. She’ll be joined by her Andromeda String Quartet - more details here.
